Our Story
We are part of our Master's Plan
We believe that every pastor and church we partner with is unique, and on the most important mission in the world; reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
That’s why we approach every building project with care, understanding, and a deep-rooted passion to build the right building on time, on budget, and on vision.
Rodney is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. After school, he worked as a director of marketing and pilot for an executive jet charter company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. God soon placed a call on Rodney’s life to enter full-time ministry, and he was led to Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church in Tulsa. He served as the Worship and Executive Pastor for seven and a half years and then accepted the call to serve as Lead Pastor for another eleven years. During this time, Rodney led the church through 3 major renovation and expansion projects.
During the third building project, Rodney hired a local company to assist with a very complicated scope of work. He built a relationship with that company that led to his transition out of full-time ministry within the church, to full-time ministry partnering with pastors across the nation to build the church. He found incredible joy and fulfillment in guiding pastors through every type of construction project, drawing on decades of ministry, business, and construction experience. He developed a process in which he was able to successfully walk with pastors through every stage of a building project including casting their vision, understanding the design and construction process, designing the right facility for their ministry, and connecting them with the right partners to have a successful project.
Rodney was given the opportunity and became a partner with the firm for 2 years. The processes that he personally developed allowed the firm he was working for to complete every project they designed and constructed under budget for 7 consecutive years.
God gave Rodney a clear vision for a new organization that could better serve churches, pastors, the community, and the Kingdom of God. As this vision solidified in Rodney’s heart, the time came for God to open the door for the next transition which would be the largest step of faith he had encountered in life. Based on the confirmation from God’s Word in a miraculous series of events from Isaiah 43:18-19, Rodney continues to follow the process and complete projects on vision and on budget year after year.
Our Core Values
As God opened the door and called Rodney to start Master’s Plan, He also surrounded him with people who have the same passion to parter with pastors and churches to design and build functional ministry facilities in the safest and most economical way.
Every team member at Master’s Plan believes in the vision God has given, exemplifies our core values, and lives our mission every minute of every day.
We are committed to helping churches get what they need for the vision God gave them. We are committed to designing facilities that are within the real budget of each church. Finally, we are committed to delivering on-time, on-budget, and on-vision.
